I can receive them however. I am operating on a MacBook. When I go to accounts it says bt is offline. I am able to send and receive with other email providers/address that are not bt. When I had this issue it was solved by re-inputting all of my Mail preferences even though they appeared correct. By re-inputting them it seemed to reset the Mail. the other problem can be the email is set up properly but the mail server it’s self for Verizon is just down. i highly recommend to use a better email system like Outlook, or Gmail since once set up your friend need never worry about it again.
