I have been using Draytek routers for over 8 years now, and they are really good. This is a business-class VPN firewall router. It is meant to be set up by a pro. When I set these up, I always set up a dial-in VPN so that I can support the customer remotely. It works great. That said, I have a few issues: I'm trying to replace an ancient Win 2008 PPTP vpn server and have tried each of the Draytek options starting with PPTP (a straight swap). I found that the straight swap to Draytek PPTP was giving me client-side download throughput reduced by 50% or more from what the old server delivered, even with encryption off. Not a happy start.
